Within town limits Permit Office

Electrical permit or inspection for one or more of the following:

Residential: (Names Must Match)

     - All turn ons

     - All installs

     - All read & leave ons

     - Any Structure movement (house, mobile home, etc…)

     - Existing structure(service line installation)

     - Temporary construction

     - Permanent construction

     - Exempt: OWNERS ONLY (tenants will need permits)

     - See Residential Exempt Owners List, below.  

Commercial:(Names Must Match)

     - All turn ons

     - All installs

     - All read & leave ons

     - Any Structure movement (shop, shed, barn, etc…)

     - Existing structure(service line installation)

     - Temporary construction

     - Permanent construction

     - Exemption:  Southeastern La University is exempt from permitting with the city of Hammond.

     DOTD is exempt from permitting with the city of Hammond
