State Requirement
Before clearance can be given on a highway or waterway for moving a house, etc. The State now requires a permit before the work can be done.
Electrical permit or inspection for one or more of the following:
Vacant longer than 6 months for residential & commercial
Permit expires after 6 months for residential & commercial
New construction, temporary meter.
New construction, permanent meter
Existing structure-if Entergy has to run a service line a permit is required
Fire
Electrical code violation
Rewiring/increase in service
Meter pan/base or loop change/relocation
Work inside meter pan or repairs made to mast or weatherhead
To have service restored after service has been disconnected for customer to do electrical repairs
Connect or reconnect a traffic signal light (See Louisiana State Property Exemption Law in special instructions above).
Gas approval or inspection for one or more of the following:
Vacant longer than 6 months for residential, commercial
Approval expires after 6 months for residential, commercial
New construction or installation
Upgrade of gas service
Gas code violation
Fire
Meter or gas/fuel line relocation
Disconnected gas/fuel line
All gas leaks
