State Requirement

• Before clearance can be given on a highway or waterway for moving a house, etc. The State now requires a permit before the work can be done.

Electrical permit or inspection for one or more of the following:

• Vacant longer than 6 months for residential & commercial

• Permit expires after 6 months for residential & commercial

• New construction, temporary meter.

• New construction, permanent meter

• Existing structure-if Entergy has to run a service line a permit is required

• Fire

• Electrical code violation

• Rewiring/increase in service

• Meter pan/base or loop change/relocation

• Work inside meter pan or repairs made to mast or weatherhead

• To have service restored after service has been disconnected for customer to do electrical repairs

• Connect or reconnect a traffic signal light (See Louisiana State Property Exemption Law in special instructions above).

• Gas approval or inspection for one or more of the following:

• Vacant longer than 6 months for residential, commercial

• Approval expires after 6 months for residential, commercial

• New construction or installation

• Upgrade of gas service

• Gas code violation

• Fire

• Meter or gas/fuel line relocation

• Disconnected gas/fuel line

• All gas leaks
