Michelle Bourg

Michelle Bourg is vice president of customer service for Entergy Louisiana, a position she was appointed to on Feb. 5, 2023. In this role, she oversees all customer service efforts on behalf of Entergy Louisiana companies.

Throughout her over 20-year career with Entergy, Bourg has taken on various roles of increasing responsibility in both the electric and gas utilities. In her most recent role as vice president of power delivery reliability control centers, Bourg was responsible for the safe, reliable, and customer-centric operation and control of Entergy’s transmission and distribution electrical systems in compliance with NERC reliability standards.  Bourg also served as vice president, transmission asset management where she directed the safe, efficient, and compliant field operation of Entergy’s transmission line and substation equipment across Entergy’s four state service territory, including execution of routine equipment inspection and maintenance, renewal and replacement of transmission equipment, and outage and emergency response, including the responses to hurricanes Laura, Delta, Zeta and Ida.

Prior to these leadership roles with power delivery operations, Bourg served as director of Entergy’s gas distribution business, where she was responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of natural gas to customers in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and the director of utility performance metrics where she was responsible for the development of tools and reporting to assist employees at all levels monitor and improve performance results.

Bourg is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) as served as the local organizing committee chairwoman for the 2022 IEEE PES T&D Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Bourg holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Louisiana State University and a master of business administration from Tulane University. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Louisiana.
